BLOCK CLUB BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS
Block Club Beautification Projects is a community-driven initiative aimed at transforming the southeast side of Fort Wayne into vibrant, beautiful neighborhoods. If you reside in this area, you qualify to receive a $1,000 grant to enhance your block creatively. From cleaning alleyways to planting flowers and installing bird feeders, the possibilities are limitless. All that's required is your enthusiasm and the collaboration of three other neighbors eager to embark on this transformative journey together.
Applications for this exciting opportunity will open in April, with the selection of eight blocks set to undergo a remarkable makeover. Join us in building a stronger, more aesthetically pleasing community – one block at a time.

CHIEF CONDRA RIDLEY LIBRARY
The Chief Condra Ridley Library is a cherished space within the Fort Wayne Urban League, dedicated to fostering a love of reading and lifelong learning. Named in honor of Chief Condra Ridley, the library features a diverse collection of books that inspire, educate, and empower.
Throughout the year, we occasionally offer free books to community members, promoting literacy and accessibility. The library also proudly houses titles from our Banned Book Campaign, made possible by the efforts of JJ Foster, our 2024 Sneaker Ball King, who raised funds to expand our collection and provide these important resources.
Visit the Chief Condra Ridley Library to explore, learn, and celebrate the power of stories.
