
Neighbor-to-Neighbor Program
The Neighbor-to-Neighbor energy assistance program provides help to customers who have a disconnect notice on their AEP bill. The guidelines for the 2021 Neighbor-to-Neighbor have been raised to 200% of the poverty level for this season.
Neighbor-to-Neighbor can pay up to $250.00 towards your AEP account. Any amount over $250.00 will need to be paid by the AEP customer.
Documentation needed to apply:
Photo ID
Social Security number for account holder
Proof of payment of at least $75.00 to your AEP account within the past 90 days
Proof of all household income for the last 30 days
AEP disconnect notice (This notice must be in the name of the applicant)

This 2022 cooling season dates are Season dates are July 1, 2022- August 31, 2022
