Operations Manager
FORT WAYNE URBAN LEAGUE, INC, FORT WAYNE, INDIANA

OVERVIEW:
Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing Fort Wayne Urban League programs and administrative operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement operational policies and procedures; keep updated on a regular basis

  • Achieve a detailed understanding of inventory needs and keeping the office well stocked and organized

  • Collaborate with the CEO and the Board of Directors to ensure Annual Budget alignment

  • Assist the CEO with concepts, ideas and implementation strategies for the work environment

  • Develop a full understanding of FWUL programs

  • Assist in the development of marketing and outreach plans for all programmatic areas.

  • Assist in the development and implements fundraising activities and special events.

  • Provide support to programming leadership teams as required

  • Train, develop, schedule and direct personnel and volunteers as needed

  • Maintain adequate records to evaluate, control, and measure the effectiveness of the assigned areas of responsibility

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Three plus years’ of experience in operational and/or administrative roles

  • Experience in implementing operational processes

  • Grant/proposal writing experience preferred

  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner

  • Strong problem solver, analytical thinker, and decision maker

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.

  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
