Operations Manager
FORT WAYNE URBAN LEAGUE, INC, FORT WAYNE, INDIANA
OVERVIEW:
Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing Fort Wayne Urban League programs and administrative operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement operational policies and procedures; keep updated on a regular basis
Achieve a detailed understanding of inventory needs and keeping the office well stocked and organized
Collaborate with the CEO and the Board of Directors to ensure Annual Budget alignment
Assist the CEO with concepts, ideas and implementation strategies for the work environment
Develop a full understanding of FWUL programs
Assist in the development of marketing and outreach plans for all programmatic areas.
Assist in the development and implements fundraising activities and special events.
Provide support to programming leadership teams as required
Train, develop, schedule and direct personnel and volunteers as needed
Maintain adequate records to evaluate, control, and measure the effectiveness of the assigned areas of responsibility
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Three plus years’ of experience in operational and/or administrative roles
Experience in implementing operational processes
Grant/proposal writing experience preferred
Ability to prioritize responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner
Strong problem solver, analytical thinker, and decision maker
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Must have a valid state driver’s license.
Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
